Chloe is a licensed professional counselor with over 9 years of experience helping adults navigate their mental health journey. She provides individual counseling services to clients in both Virginia and Florida, and offers clinical supervision to Residents in Counseling in Virginia. While Chloe considers herself a “generalist,” working with individuals from all walks of life, she primarily focuses on individuals who struggle with self-doubt, achievement related stressors, difficulty processing emotions in healthy ways and navigating high stress work environments.
Throughout Chloe’s career, she’s had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including state agencies, emergency and hospital care and outpatient environments, which has shaped her approach to counseling, giving her a broad perspective on the unique challenges that individuals may face.

Bonnie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) practicing in Virginia and Washington, DC, since 2015. Bonnie earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego.
Bonnie has extensive experience in community mental health and acute psychiatric settings. She collaborates with her clients working towards wellness, by engaging them in problem-solving and establishing meaning as part of the self-discovery process. She utilizes a person-centered and solution-focused approach in addition to cognitive behavioral interventions to assist clients in achieving their goals and foster positive coping strategies. Bonnie is trained to provide EMDR and is able to incorporate EMDR and AIP principles in her work, helping clients to gain a deeper understanding of how past events impact current life experiences. She works with young adults and adults seeking progress and healing in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and career development. As a woman of color and first generation-immigrant, Bonnie values the concept of intersectionality as it relates to one’s identity and strives to create a safe space for everyone she has the pleasure of helping.

Jenny Hua is a Resident in Counseling in Virginia. Jenny earned a Master’s Degree in in Mental
Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and undergrad degree in Communications from Wake Forest University.
Jenny is also Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC) certified and has vocational rehabilitation counseling experience working with individuals with cognitive, physical, and mental health disabilities with their vocational goals related to competitive employment, training, and educational opportunities. She hopes to help individuals develop positive and healthy coping strategies and accomplish their goals through integrative approaches and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

Nikki Spencer is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia. Nikki earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Nikki earned an undergraduate degree in secondary education from Anderson University.
Nikki is well-versed in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to various issues in an individual’s life. Nikki’s clinical experience involves working with individuals who are going through transitions in life, struggle with anxiety, are experiencing depression, and who are struggling with ADHD. She is a member of the ACA (American Counseling Association) and the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors) and is excited to help empower her clients in overcoming the challenges they are facing.

Judy was born totally blind due to congenital Glaucoma. She is the proud mom of two amazing daughters. Judy was born and raised in the state of Texas and has been in Virginia for the last seven years, which she believes has been a great place to live. Judy has been in the field of counseling for almost four decades. The majority of that time has been in the area of vocational rehabilitation counseling. Judy has worked with individuals of all ages as well as their families and she is excited to work with individuals at Waves Clinical Services.

Christine is a Resident in Counseling in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Christine earned a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Christine earned an undergraduate degree in English from La Salle University.
Christine’s background includes working in non-profit and community service agencies, and in hospital settings. Christine has experience working with individual with serious mental illness, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders and individuals transitioning back into society from jail/prison. Christine’s clinical experience involves working with children and adults diagnosed with ASD and with survivors of sexual assault. She is currently working on becoming a certified grief counselor. Christine utilizes evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. She is a member of the ACA (American Counseling Association) and the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors). Christine is excited to work with individuals using person-centered interventions, helping each individual discover what makes them unique and special and enabling positive thinking, better coping and problem-solving skills.
